I was the Manager of the Chenin Blanc Association of South Africa for many years and till recently Project Manager, where my focus was on the international collaboration with @FandeChenin in the Loire and communication with Chenin Blanc producers worldwide. Before my career in wine, I held a senior position at an Insurance Company. At the age of 50, I decided to retire early, unsure of what the future held. It was my love of travel that sparked my passion for wine and more specifically Chenin Blanc. With a strong affinity for France, I have made frequent trips to the Loire Valley since the late nineties. Early in my wine career, I worked as a tasting coordinator for the John Platter's Wine Guide before joining the Chenin Blanc Association. I'm excited to continue my journey in the wine industry and share my expertise with others.
